Becoming a Writing Group Plus member means you’ll have a central meeting place in the city, close to public transport and parking. Your group will also be able to
- have a Profile placed on our website, with a description of your writing group’s area of interest and contact details
- 20 hours free use of the Centre’s rooms annually for member groups
- receive 5 copies of Southern Write, our quarterly newsletter (March, June, September and December), keeping you in touch with writing activities, publishing markets, news, opportunities, writing competitions and much more
- choose between our two spacious meeting rooms
- have access to kitchen facilities
- use of whiteboard and markers
- use of data projector and screen by prior arrangement (cost $50.00 per session)
- obtain free advertising and listings in our newsletter, Southern Write
- attend networking evenings hosted by staff, Board members or industry professionals
- have free use of the centre for book launches (conditions apply)
- attend launches and events organised by the Centre
- receive discounts for room hire
